PATAGONIA also follows environmental considerations when it comes to cultivation. Through the Regenerative Organic (ROC) program , in which more than 550 farmers participate, investments and testing, the company aims to improve soil health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Two thirds of the products are Fair Trade™ . This enables better working conditions for 49,000 employees in 10 countries. In total, 83% of the range is Fair Trade certified and 60,000 workers benefit from the Fair Trade programs in which PATAGONIA participates. The social responsibility program analyzes the company's impact on workers and communities from production to sales and improves it in terms of environmental protection and fair working conditions. In doing so, PATAGONIA wants to sustainably improve the living and working conditions of its employees and manufacture its products fairly.
