The Little Boys series with waxed canvas (water-repellent) and cord nylon fabric (waterproof) as the main material offers the urban man a robust product for every adventure. The City Cowgirl series is the equivalent for women who like a light vintage touch. The Stories Hunter and Rough Purists series use vegetable-tanned eco-leather and have also been given a slight vintage touch. The inner material of all bags is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and is made with great attention to detail. Sustainability at Margelisch
Margelisch was founded in 2010 in Bern, Switzerland by Reinhard Margelisch. Since then, when it comes to sustainability, not only the use of GOTS-certified and environmentally friendly materials has been on the agenda. Production and supply chain are also monitored according to strict ethical standards. Fair production therefore includes appropriate remuneration for staff, a fair price that covers production costs and provides long-term income. Children are not involved in any production process. Margelisch's production facility in India is run by two brothers with 70 employees. The designer Reinhard Margelisch spends 5-6 weeks a year in Calcutta developing collection samples and implementing work processes. Accordingly, production standards are directly influenced. The SEDEX social audit confirms Margelisch's efforts. The bags and backpacks are sewn by hand , so even small leftover pieces of leather or canvas can be reused. Margelisch also uses reusable cardboard boxes when shipping the bags.

Für meinen Urlaub habe ich eine Kombination aus Rucksack und Koffer gesucht, weil ich keine typische Backpackingtour machen, aber trotzdem flexibel bleiben wollte, um auch mal Wege zu Fuß zurücklegen zu können. Der Koffer bringt an sich mehr Eigengewicht mit, lässt sich aber flexibel einstellen und die Sachen können so eingepackt werden, dass das Gewicht möglichst günstig und nah am Körper verteilt ist. Die Qualität ist großartig. Ein Langstreckenflug wurde ohne Kratzer überstanden. Der Kauf hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Die Lieferung war schnell und unkompliziert.
Die Qualität des Rucksacks ist bisher top. Das merkt man z. B. an den Reißverschlüssen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Umbau-Mechanismus funktioniert reibungslos.
