Sustainability at Margelisch
Margelisch was founded in 2010 in Bern, Switzerland by Reinhard Margelisch. Since then, when it comes to sustainability, not only the use of GOTS-certified and environmentally friendly materials has been on the agenda. Production and supply chain are also monitored according to strict ethical standards. Fair production therefore includes appropriate remuneration for staff, a fair price that covers production costs and provides long-term income. Children are not involved in any production process. Margelisch's production facility in India is run by two brothers with 70 employees. The designer Reinhard Margelisch spends 5-6 weeks a year in Calcutta developing collection samples and implementing work processes. Accordingly, production standards are directly influenced. The SEDEX social audit confirms Margelisch's efforts. The bags and backpacks are sewn by hand , so even small leftover pieces of leather or canvas can be reused. Margelisch also uses reusable cardboard boxes when shipping the bags.

Danke, ich habe lange zeit nach so einem rucksack gesucht. Im zug nach Wien hatte neben mir ein fahrgast einen ortlieb rucksack, ich glaube ihn drauf angesprochen, er hatte nur gutes zu berichten, also habe ich gleich eine bestellt.danke
Ich habe die 80L Version in Grün schon vor ca. 2 Jahren gekauft und paar mal benutzt. Ich mag Sojourn weil: -Die Rollen so leise und Geländetauglich sind, die Verstärkte Seiten mit zwei Gurten bei Flugreisen beruhigend wirken:-)
In diese Tasche passt irgendwie mehr rein als in einen 90 L Hartschallenkoffer. Man muss einfach weiter packen obwohl die Tasche schon längst voll ist :-) Es klingt komisch aber so ist es. Dann zusammendrücken, innere Gurte zu, Reißverschluss zu, zwei Gurte Außen schlissen und Sie merken es könnte noch was rein:-) Qualitativ ist die Tasche sehr gut, vertrauenserweckend. Als Rucksack noch nicht ausprobiert, aber man kann die in zwei Händen tragen(Griffe) oder auf den Schultern( vielleicht nicht sehr lange aber kurze Strecken oder zB. Treppen schon. Die Tasche wird schon schneller als Hartschallenkoffer dreckig und ein Flug hinterlässt auch spuren. Aber wer öffentliche Verkehrsmittel nutzen muss, keine Asphaltierte Gehwege erwartet der wird mit der Tasche Glücklich.
Für mich hat der Tragekomfort leider nicht gepasst. Aufgrund der wasserfesten Materialeigenschaften habe ich überlegt, den Rucksack dennoch zu behalten. Ich habe dann aber entschieden, ihn zurückzuschicken, da für mich persönlich das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gepasst hat. Der Blauton war heller als erwartet.
