The Swiss label from Bern has been developing and producing high-quality designer bags for an urban audience with the highest standards of sustainable action throughout the entire value chain since 2010. The backpacks and bags are absolutely suitable for everyday use and meet the high standards of GOTS . It is manufactured by hand in India according to SEDEX requirements. The main materials are organic cotton and eco-leather , which is vegetable tanned and chrome-free.

The brand presents itself in 4 theme worlds, which are determined by the material and target audience. The Little Boys series with waxed canvas (water-repellent) and cord nylon fabric (waterproof) as the main material offers the urban man a robust product for every adventure. The City Cowgirl series is the equivalent for women who like a light vintage touch. The Stories Hunter and Rough Purists series use vegetable-tanned eco-leather and have also been given a slight vintage touch. The inner material of all bags is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and is made with great attention to detail. Sustainability at Margelisch
Margelisch was founded in 2010 in Bern, Switzerland by Reinhard Margelisch. Since then, when it comes to sustainability, not only the use of GOTS-certified and environmentally friendly materials has been on the agenda. Production and supply chain are also monitored according to strict ethical standards. Fair production therefore includes appropriate remuneration for staff, a fair price that covers production costs and provides long-term income. Children are not involved in any production process. Margelisch's production facility in India is run by two brothers with 70 employees. The designer Reinhard Margelisch spends 5-6 weeks a year in Calcutta developing collection samples and implementing work processes. Accordingly, production standards are directly influenced. The SEDEX social audit confirms Margelisch's efforts. The bags and backpacks are sewn by hand , so even small leftover pieces of leather or canvas can be reused. Margelisch also uses reusable cardboard boxes when shipping the bags.

Ich finde die Größe für 90% meiner Tage auch vollkommen ausreichend.
Lediglich ein paar mehr Verstaumöglichkeiten / Taschen im Inneren wäre praktisch, da schon doch viel einfach lose im Rucksack liegt.
