The start-up not only offers a sustainable and stylish alternative to leather goods, but also relies on full transparency in its production conditions. Ecological and fair bags that are a benefit for people and the environment! The idea came to the two founders during a trip through southern Europe when they came into contact with cork for the first time. Impressed by the soft and flexible material, an idea grew and Sperling was born. After the concept was in place and sufficient capital was found, the start-up was founded in 2018.

All products are made from renewable raw materials and are produced sustainably. Perfect for everyday use, Sperings Bags combine functionality with sustainability. The durable material made from plant-based raw materials is processed in an intelligent design. Using a thermal process, thin layers are removed from the bark, which look and feel reminiscent of leather. Fair and ecological – that’s what Sperling Bags is all about!
